About PNS Grosso s.r.o.

The company is divided into divisions across the whole CR.

PNS Grosso s.r.o. started its activity on 1 January 1993. Since its foundation it has focused exclusively on distribution of newspapers and magazines.

On 1 January 2006 a part of activities previously undertaken by the company was moved to the mother company. PNS Grosso s.r.o. does not buy press and sell it to retailers anymore. Currently, it provides the mother company with all services related to press distribution on contractual basis. 

On 1 November 2011 the Praha Division merged with the Holding headquarters. This constituted the first step of the PNS Holding restructuring, which will culminate in 2012 by the merger of the daughter companies "R.E.T. s.r.o.", Maloobchodní prodej tisku, s.r.o. and PNS Projektová s.r.o., incorporating into PNS Grosso s.r.o.  The activities of Maloobchodní prodej tisku, s.r.o. and PNS Projektová s.r.o. will be taken over by PNS Grosso s.r.o.; these companies will cease to exist after the merger. “R.E.T. s.r.o.“ will be transformed into the Olomouc Division as part of PNS Grosso s.r.o.    

 

Business activities (trade):

· purchase of goods for the purpose of further sale,

· brokering services, business, organizational and economic consultancy.

The main activity of the company is the provision of press distribution related services to the mother company.

 

The company operates the largest press-store network in the Czech Republic. Currently, it is responsible for over 250 POS located at places of high customer concentration (train and bus stations, public transport stops, schools, state offices, commercial centres and residential areas).

Apart from press, which constitutes approximately 30% of the total goods turnover, it offers an assortment of tobacco products, drinks and refreshments, postcards, maps, public transport tickets, phone top-up cards and other.

Lease of advertising spaces
You can place your advertisements on attractive places in our POS. You can promote your products in citilight displays, illuminated boxes over press stands or priority space near the cashier. Tobacco companies can make use of facing or outdoor advertising in tobacco stands.
Our POS are also suitable for the placement of your own advertising carrier.
You can also use our sales spaces for one-off promotional events.
As part of the above mentioned modernisation, our company launched a project of new PNS-MPT1 stands and commenced revitalisation of the HEXA stand. We will be happy to give you more information about the lease of advertising spaces.
